in the heart of some of the most beautiful scenery in Eastern Idaho, Rexburg is

Association ranks Rexburg as one of the top 100 North American cities to visit.
Rexburg Attractions
Teton Flood Museum
This Museum located in the basement of the Tabernacle houses the Upper Snake
River Valley Historical Society Museum, aptly named the Teton Flood Museum
because of its extensive collections of flood memorabilia including but not
limited to films, photos, and other items related to the Teton Dam disaster.
The Tabernacle Building was purchased from the LDS Church after the Teton Dam
collapsed and flooded the surrounding communities. This building sustained major
damage. But after extensive renovation, the Teton Flood Museum opened the summer
of 1982 in the basement of the Tabernacle. Currently, it is maintained by the
City of Rexburg.
The Idaho Centennial Carousel is Idaho's only antique wooden carousel. It is one
of 170 antique wooden carousels still existing in the U.S. It has authentic
carousel music from an organ run on paper rolls, providing old-fashioned
original sounds. The carousel is housed in a new building at Porter Park.
Yellowstone Bear World
Bear World takes a nostalgic look back to when black and grizzly bears roamed
freely in the Yellowstone area. Bear World is a unique drive-through park where
you can watch the wildlife in their own habitats in your own vehicle.
The Idaho Falls LDS Temple is located on a beautiful spot of land overlooking
the falls of the Snake River. The land was donated by the Idaho Falls Chamber of
Commerce. It was completed in 1945. St. Anthony Sand Dunes
Starting about eight miles west of St. Anthony are the living sand dunes -
41,000 acres of exciting potential playground just being discovered by dune
buggy and snowmobile enthusiasts.
Chamber Day Tours
Each summer the Chamber of Commerce sponsors one day trips to area points of
interest. Many are geared towards the visiting Sunbirds to help them get to know
the area, but the general public is welcomed. Hunting Big Game
